With all the security safeguards that have been put in to place over the past few years with credit cards, it might be surprising to learn that the amount of credit card fraud is going up all the time. It seems that the fraudster is continually one step ahead, despite the improved security measures card providers take. Last year in the UK alone the value of fraud was 610 million pounds, and much of it was down to online transactions. That`s an increase of more than 40% in just the last two years.
